WHAT IS THE GREEN BEAT CARAVAN? 

The Green Beat Caravan is an environmental journalism training program for emerging journalists and storytellers in six climate-vulnerable areas of the Philippines. This initiative focuses on capacity-building workshops, creating communities of practice, and facilitating knowledge exchange with an emphasis on the safety of journalists and press freedom.

The project will be strategically implemented in Cagayan de Oro City, Zamboanga City, Cebu City, Baybay City, Malolos City, and Naga City. These cities have been identified as climate-risk provinces that are prone to natural hazards.
